Throughout this article, your organization's Admin, and your team will be able to configure Neodeluxe, and use the USClaims solution. This article outlines the responsibilities of your organization's Admin and team members for configuring and using the USClaims solution within Neodeluxe.
Summary
The USClaims option in the Neodeluxe Sidebar enables Filevine users to easily submit a funding request directly to USClaims. Information can be:
- Automatically populating the required fields with specific information from a Filevine Project using the Autofill Form button, or
- Manually enter the information into the Neodeluxe Sidebar.
Involved Users and Required Roles
- Portal Admin: Oversees the setup of Neodeluxe and user roles.
- US Claims Admin: Configures USClaims mapping for Autofill setup.
- US Claims User: Submits funding requests in the Sidebar.
- account*: Required baseline access role for all users in Neodeluxe.
Portal Admin: Responsibilities
The Neodeluxe Portal Administrator user (with Portal Admin role) is responsible for the initial setup of Neodeluxe and user access configuration:
- Initial Neodeluxe Setup
- Access Neodeluxe using the URL and username provided via email.
- Create a password.

- For information about your account settings, read: User Setting Section.
- Filevine Integration
- Connect your organization's Filevine Tenant to Neodeluxe.
- For information about this setup, please read the Authentication information in the Filevine Integration.
- Then, perform the authentication process, as explained in Filevine Integration - Authentication: Connecting Filevine to Neodeluxe.
- To learn how to obtain your Filevine API OAuth Access Token (PAT), visit: How to Get a Filevine API OAuth Access Token (PAT).
- Filevine Template Setup
- Complete the Filevine Template Setup for each Filevine Project Type, and optionally auto-add users to Neodeluxe from a Filevine report.

- For information about configuring the Filevine report used in the Filevine Template setup, read: Filevine Template Setup Reports.
- Users included in the Filevine Report during the Filevine Template Setup in Step 7: Adding Users, are automatically created in Neodeluxe and invited via email.
- Manually Create/Edit Users

If users are missing or need updates, create or edit them manually, and assign the appropriate roles:
- Assign the account, and USClaims Admin roles to users responsible for configuring the USClaims feature in Neodeluxe.
- Assign the account, and USClaims User roles to users responsible for using the USClaims feature in the Neodeluxe Sidebar.
- For information on manually creating or editing Neodeluxe users and assigning the required roles, read: Admin: General: Manage Neodeluxe Users.
- You can assign roles to users individually during creation or editing, or in bulk using the User Groups feature.
- Add User Groups (Optional)
- Use the User Groups feature to create groups of users and assign roles to the entire group in bulk.

US Claims Admin: Responsibilities
The US Claims Administrator user (with USClaims Admin role) is responsible for configuring the mapping for each Project Type:
- Initial Neodeluxe Setup
- Access Neodeluxe using the URL and username provided via email.
- Create a password.

- For information about your account settings, read: User Setting Section.
- Neodeluxe Sidebar Setup
- Download the Nedeluxe Sidebar, and log in by using your Neodeluxe credentials.

- USClaims Mapping
- Map the fields for each Filevine Project Type in Neodeluxe to enable the Autofill Form option to automatically fill the corresponding fields in the Neodeluxe Sidebar.

USClaims User: Responsibilities
The US Claims User (with USClaims User role) is responsible for submitting funding requests through the Sidebar while working in Filevine:
- Initial Neodeluxe Portal Setup
- Access Neodeluxe using the URL and username provided via email.
- Create a password.

- Neodeluxe Sidebar Setup
- Download the Nedeluxe Sidebar, and log in by using your Neodeluxe credentials.
