Neodeluxe Sidebar Setup & Login

Overview

This article outlines the installation and login for the Neodeluxe Sidebar using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Neodeluxe Sidebar works in Filevine to help users access Neodeluxe Data Governance AI alerts and Advanced Task Management. For information on these products, please visit the Neodeluxe website.

Installing the Extension on Google Chrome

1. Open Google Chrome

Launch your Chrome browser and go to Chrome Web Store.

2. Search for "Neodeluxe Sidebar"

In the search bar at the top of the page, type Neodeluxe Sidebar and press Enter. Locate and select the Neodeluxe Sidebar extension from the search results.

3. Add Extension to Chrome

Click the Add to Chrome button on the right side of the extension's page. In the pop-up that appears, confirm by selecting Add Extension.

4. Pin Extension for Easy Access

Once installed, click the puzzle piece (Extensions) icon in the top-right corner of your browser. Find the Neodeluxe Sidebar in the list, then click the pin icon to make it easily accessible from your toolbar. 

Installing the Extension on Microsoft Edge

You can also install the Neodeluxe Sidebar extension in Microsoft Edge by following these steps:

1. Open Microsoft Edge

Launch Edge and go to the Chrome Web Store. 

2. Search for "Neodeluxe Sidebar"

In the search bar at the top of the page, type Neodeluxe Sidebar and press Enter. Locate and select the Neodeluxe Sidebar extension from the search results.

3. Enable Extensions from Other Stores

In the banner at the top of the extension's page, click Get extension to install. A pop up will appear asking if you want to allow extensions from other stores. Click Allow to enable this feature.

4. Add Extension to Edge

A confirmation pop-up will appear; select Add Extension to complete the installation.

5. Pin the Extension for Easy Access

Once the extension is installed, click the puzzle piece (Extensions) icon in the top-right corner of Edge. Find the Neodeluxe Sidebar in the list and click the eye icon to keep it visible in your toolbar for quick access.

Logging Into the Sidebar

1. Open Filevine and Select the Neodeluxe Sidebar

Open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and log in to your firm's Filevine instance. From your browser's toolbar, select the Neodeluxe Sidebar from your installed extensions.

NOTE: The Neodeluxe Sidebar is only accessible on a Filevine domain. You will not be able to open or interact with the extension on other domains.

2. Enter Your Firm's Neodeluxe Subdomain

In the extension sidebar, enter your firm's Neodeluxe portal subdomain name and click Continue.

NOTE: The subdomain name is the first part of your portal URL and does NOT include .portal.vinebots.com

3. Log In with Your Credentials

Enter your email address and password, then click Log In. If your firm uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you can select the Log in with SSO button to log in.

Updating the Extension on Google Chrome

1. Open Neodeluxe Sidebar Management

Open Google Chrome and from the browser's toolbar, select the Neodeluxe Sidebar from your installed extensions. Then select Manage extension.

2. Enable Developer Mode

From the top right corner, make sure Developer mode is toggled on.

3. Update the Extension

Select the Update button. The message, "Extension Updated" will appear in the bottom left corner once the update is complete.

Updating the Extension on Microsoft Edge

1. Open Extension Management

Open Microsoft Edge and from the browser's toolbar, select the Extensions icon (Puzzle piece icon). Then select Manage extensions.

2. Update Extensions

Select Update in the top right corner of the Installed Extensions list. The message Extensions updated will appear in the top right corner once the update is complete.
