Process Studio’s Triggers Menu is a tool where administrators can create, edit, or delete triggers. A trigger is a specific event that starts an automated process within an application like Filevine or Foundation AI. Every process must be initiated by a trigger.
How to Access the Triggers Menu
To access the Triggers menu:
1. Click the Process menu.
2. Click Triggers menu.
Triggers Menu Dashboard
The Triggers menu dashboard provides an overview of all your configured triggers within the Neodeluxe Process Studio:

Create a Trigger
To create a new trigger:
1. Click the +New Trigger button.
2. Enter a Trigger name.
3. Select the App where the trigger will run.
4. Complete the fields required for each App.
These may vary depending on the selected app.
5. Under Trigger Filters, click + Add Item to add a filter.
6. Define the filter with a First Value, Condition, and a Second Value.
7. Click Save.
Edit a Trigger
To edit an existing trigger:
1. Select the trigger name to edit.
You will now be in the Trigger editor, where you can make changes to the Trigger Details and the Trigger Filters sections.
2. When you finish, click Save.
Edit Linked Processes
To edit or review linked processes:
1. Select the trigger name to open the Trigger Editor.
2. Click the Linked Process tab to view the linked processes, including their names and statuses.
3. Click the window icon to open the Process Studio Editor, where you can edit the selected process.
Delete a Trigger
To delete a trigger:
1. Select a Trigger and click the delete icon in the Action column.
2. Click Delete in the pop-up message.
Process Studio: Triggers Editor
The Trigger Editor is a tool that allows admins to create or modify all aspects of a trigger, including its name, app, event, and criteria.
How to Access the Trigger Editor
1. Click the Trigger Menu.
2. Click + New Trigger.
You are now in the Trigger Editor dashboard.

Create a New Trigger
To create a new trigger, admins must complete all fields in the Trigger Details and Trigger Filters sections.
First: Trigger Details
1. Enter a Trigger Name.
2. Select an App.
- Filevine: Project Type, Event, Section
- Foundation AI: Event.
3. Complete all required fields.
The available fields depend on the selected app. However, every app will have an Event field, which determines when the trigger runs.
Second: Trigger Filters
Trigger filters define the specific conditions for executing the process. Filters are dependent on the Trigger Details. To add filters:
1. Complete the Trigger Details fields.
2. Click + Add Item.
3. Select the Variable, Operator, and Value.
4. (Optional) Add more criteria by clicking + Add Item, or remove them using the delete icon.
5. Click Save to store the trigger settings.
