Who can use this feature?
Admins with permisions to manage Filevine reports.

As outlined in the Filevine Template Setup, users can either customize the report that was created during setup, or manually create a new Filevine report. Once created, the report's ID must be entered in the Step 07: Adding Users in the Portal Access Report ID field.
Create a New Filevine Integration Report
- In Filevine, from the Report Builder menu, in the Select an Organization dropdown, select the appropriate organization where the Project Type to be integrated is located. In the Select a Project Type dropdown, choose the same project type used during the Filevine Template Setup. Then click List of Projects.
The selected Project Type must match the one used in the Filevine Template Setup.
- In the Setup Columns, confirm the selected Organization and Project Type and toggle on Display Related Data Columns (may decrease the performance of this report).
- In the Report Columns section, add the following columns:
- Name
- Project ID
- Phase
- Project Type
- Add Portal User Columns to the Report: In the Quick Select field search the columns for Portal User First Name, Portal User Last Name, Phone Number, and Email 1, and add it to the Report Columns for each of the 10 Portal User fields.
- Client First Name
- Client Last Name
- Portal user 1 First Name
- Portal User 1 Last Name
- Portal User 1 Phone 1
- Portal User 1 Email 1
- Portal User 2 First Name
- Portal User 2 Last Name
- Portal User 2 Phone 1
- Portal User 2 Email 1
…
- Portal User 10 First Name
- Portal User 10 Last Name
- Portal User 10 Phone 1
- Portal User 10 Email 1
- Click Choose Criteria and either define specific criteria or click Run Report to generate the full list.
- In the Run Report section, the generated report is displayed. Click Save/Export to continue the setup.
- Click Save As to save the report.
- Enter the Report Name* and click Save.
The message (Name of the report) Saved appears at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- Click Share Report to share it. In the Shareable section, search for the Filevine Integration User, select it, and use the arrow to add it to the Shared With section.
- Repeat this step to share the report with any additional users who need portal access.
- Users will only see data for projects they have access to.
Obtain the Report ID’s
- In Filevine, go to Saved Reports, click the FILTER MENU, search for the report by name, and open it.
- Copy the Report ID from the URL.
For Example: URL:http://sandbox.filevineapp.com/#/reports/616.
In this example, the Report ID is 616
- Paste the Report ID into Step 07: Adding Users in the Portal Access Report ID field to complete the process.
Customize the Created Report in the Filevine Template Setup
To edit the report that was automatically generated during the Filevine Template Setup:
- Go to Saved Reports in Filevine, and paste the generated Portal Access Report ID number at the end of the URL.
- Click the Edit Report in Report Builder icon, and customize the report in the Report Builder by following Steps 2-8 from the Create a New Filevine Report article to customize columns, criteria, and sharing settings.
