Summary
In Neodeluxe, Project Types can be assigned classes for easier identification and filtering, based on a custom field selector configured to meet your firm’s needs. These classifications allow for more tailored views across the platform.
Admins can manage Project Type Classes by creating, editing, or deleting them through the Project Type Class interface.
Access Project Type Classes
- Go to the Admin menu, select Neodeluxe Portal, and then select Project Type Class.
- The Project Types Class interface displays the option to add new classifications and a table displaying existing Project Types and their Class Field Selectors. The interface shows the following information:
- + Project Type Class: Allows the user to create a new class for existing project types.
The table includes the following columns:
- Project Type: Displays the Project Types that have been configured with a class field selector.
- Project Type Class Field Selector: Shows the assigned field selector for each Project Type.
- Actions: Includes Edit and Delete icons for each record.
- Save: Applies all changes made to the list records.
- Cancel: Discards all unsaved changes and returns to the admin menu.
Create a Project Type Class
- Click the + Project Type button. A new row is added to the list.
- Click the chevron icon to expand the Project Type list, and select the desired option.
- Enter the Project Type Class Field Selector, and click the Save icon to add the setup to the list.
Changes are not saved until the bottom Save button is clicked. To discard the new row before saving, click the X icon.
- To save the configured project type class or any edits made, click the Save button. Once saved, the message "Changes Saved Successfully" will appear in the bottom-right corner.
Edit a Project Type Class
- In the Project Type Class interface, locate the row you want to modify, and click the Edit icon.
- Modify the Project Type and/or the desired Project Type Class Field Selector, then click the Save icon to add the changes to the list.
Changes are not saved until the bottom Save button is clicked. To discard the new row before saving, click the X icon.
- To save the modifications, click the Save button. Once saved, the message "Changes Saved Successfully" will appear in the bottom-right corner.
Delete Project Type Classes
- Locate the row containing the Project Type Class Field Selector you want to delete, and click the Delete icon.
- The row is permanently deleted from the list. To save the changes, click Save.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Why weren’t my Project Type Class changes saved?
The Save icon allows you to modify Project Type classes, but the changes ARE NOT applied until clicking the Save button in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Why the Deleted Project Type Classes are Not Saved?
Clicking the Delete icon removes the Project Type Class from the list, but the changes ARE NOT applied until clicking the Save button in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
