Summary

This article explains how to create custom Landing Pages in Neodeluxe. Landing Pages let you personalize the initial Project view based on the project type.

Landing Page Interface

  1. Navigate to Admin >Neodeluxe Portal > Landing Page.

  1. On this page, Admins can design and configure a custom welcome page (default tab) that users see when viewing their case. The Landing Page interface includes:

  1. + Create New Landing Page: Allows Admins to create a Landing Page for a specific Filevine Project Type.
  2. Search: Filters the Landing Pages based on the entered text by name, Project Type, creator, or status.

The All Landing Pages list includes the following columns:

  1. Landing Page Name: The name of the Landing Page. This name appears as a tab within the client’s case.
  2. Project Type: The Project Type the Landing Page is associated with. Only one Landing Page can be configured per Project Type.
  3. Created By: The username of the person who created the Landing Page.
  4. Created Date: The date and time when the Landing Page was created.
  5. Status:  The current publication status:
  • Draft: The page is in editing mode.
  • Published Version: The live version is visible to users.
  • Hidden: The page is not visible to users.
  1. Actions: Contains the following icons:
  • Edit: Opens the Landing Page for editing (enabled for all statuses).
  • Hide: Hides the Landing Page Tab from the user’s Project view (enabled for Draft or Published Version status).
  • Make it Visible: Makes a Hidden Landing Page visible again (enabled only for Hidden status).
  • Delete: Permanently deletes the Landing Page.

Create Landing Pages

To create a new Landing Page:

  1. In the Landing Page interface, click the + Create New Landing Page button.
  • While in Draft, changes are not visible to users until the landing page is set to Published Version. The last Published version remains visible to users.
  • Once set to Published Version, the page becomes visible to users.
  • Setting the page to Hidden makes it completely invisible to users.
  1. In the Landing Page Settings, enter the Landing Page Name, select a Filevine Project Type*, and click Apply.

The name will be displayed as a new tab within the user’s Project view.

  1. Click Add Section to insert a new section into the Landing Page.
  2. Enter the Section Name, toggle the switch to select if the section Is Collapsible or not, and optionally configure the Conditionals  (rules that determine when this section is shown), and click Apply.

  • If a section is collapsible, users can expand or collapse it.
  • If Conditionals are configured, the section is only shown when specific criteria are met.

Conditionals

Each conditional section includes:

  • Criterion N: Criteria are related using OR logic. Each criterion consists of one or more Conditions. By default Criterion 1 is shown.
    • Condition: Conditions are related using AND logic. Each condition includes:
      • Data Source*: Filevine or Vineportal (Neodeluxe).
      • Variable*: A field from the selected Project Type.
      • Operator*: Logic for evaluation (For example: Equal To, Not Equal To, Less Than). The available operators depend on the field type of the selected Variable*.
      • Value: The specific value(s) to be match, either entered manually or selected from a dropdown.
      • For more information on criteria and conditionals, please visit: Criteria in Neodeluxe.

For example: For Filevine Projects with Project Type Mass Tort, the Conditional section is configured as follows:

IF

The NOF Start Date Absolute field in the US Case Data section is Equals to 03/11/2025

AND

The Invite Client & Portal Users to Vineportal field in the Case Summary section is Equals  to No

OR

The Address in the United States? field  in the Address History section is Not Empty

  • When in a Filevine Project with Project Type Mass Tort the user enters in the US Case Data-NOF Start Date Absolute field, the value 03/11/2025,

AND

The user enters NO in the Case Summary-Invite Client & Portal Users to Vineportal field,

The criteria IS MET and the corresponding section in the landing page is displayed.

Troubleshooting and FAQs

Why Can’t I Configure a Landing Page for a Project Type?

Each Project Type can have only one Landing Page configuration. Make sure a Landing Page doesn’t already exist for that Project Type.

Why Can’t I See the Configured Landing Page in the Client Portal Project?

Ensure the Landing Page status is Published Version.

  • If the status is Hidden, the Landing Page will not be visible to users in the Project view.
  • If the status is Draft, the Landing Page is still in editing mode and has not been published yet.

Why Can’t I Publish My Landing Page?

Landing Pages must first be saved as a Draft. Once that’s done, the Publish button becomes available in the Update Landing Page interface.
