This article explains how to manage integration users from the Integration User editor. From this editor, admins can deactivate or reactivate integration users, assign tags, update basic information and scopes, and generate new OAuth credentials. To perform the actions described below, admins must first access the Integration User editor.
 

how to deactivate an integration user

To deactivate an integration user:

1. Click the Deactivation and Reactivation menu
2. Click Deactivate Integration
3. Click YES, DEACTIVATE 1 INTEGRATION to confirm
The integration user is deactivated and can no longer authenticate or interact with Neostella.
 

how to reactivate an integration user

To reactivate a previously deactivated integration user:

1. Click the Deactivation and Reactivation menu
2. Click Reactivate Integration
3. Click YES, REACTIVATE 1 INTEGRATION to confirm
The integration user is reactivated and regains access based on its configured scopes.

 

how to assign tags to an integration user

Tags can be used to categorize and filter integration users. To assign tags:

1. Click the + Assign Tags button
2. Select a tag from the list
The tag is added automatically
Repeat these steps to assign additional tags if needed.

To update the basic information of an integration user:

1. In the DETAILS tab, click the Name or Description field
2. Edit the values as needed
3. Click SAVE to apply the changes
The integration user information is updated successfully.

Scopes define which Neostella tools the integration user can access. To modify scopes:

1. In the DETAILS tab, select or deselect the checkboxes for the available tools
2. Click SAVE to apply the changes
The integration user’s access permissions are updated accordingly

 

how to create new oauth credentials

OAuth credentials are used by external systems to authenticate with Neostella. To generate new credentials:

1. Click the NEW CREDENTIAL button
A new Client ID and Client Secret are generated automatically
2. Copy and securely store the Client ID and Client Secret
These values are hidden after creation and cannot be retrieved again.
