Filevine Integration

This article explains how Neodeluxe Admins can perform the Authentication process to connect their Filevine tenant to Neodeluxe, set up Portal Access Reports, and manage the Auto Add User and Hydration processes in Neodeluxe.

Filevine Integration Interface

1. Go to the Admin menu and select Filevine.

2. Select Filevine Integration.

The Filevine Integration interface allows Admins to configure:

• Authentication: Connect Filevine tenants via OAuth.
• Portal Access Reports: Sync and manage Filevine project reports.
• Auto Add User: Automatically add users from Filevine reports. 
• Hydration: Sync project data between Filevine and Neodeluxe.

Explore the following tabs to learn more:

• Authentication: Through this interface, users are able to integrate their Filevine Tenants, allowing them to perform the authentication using the new authentication method in Filevine OAuth token, instead of API keys.  

  

  This interface contains the following elements:

  • Filevine Tenant Subdomain: This field allows the user to enter the Filevine Tenant Subdomain that will be connected to Neodeluxe Portal. 
  • Save: Click the Save button to save the entered Filevine Tenant Subdomain.

  The Applications connections grid contains the following elements:

  • Application: This column includes the names of the available Neodeluxe applications that can be connected.
  • Status: This column indicates the application's status.
    • Connected: The application is connected.
    • No connection established: The connection was unsuccessful and application is not connected.
  • Connection: This column contains the button to Connect or Reconnect the application when required.

• Portal Access Report: This interface allows users to manage Filevine Portal Access Reports for each Project Type and sync them in Neodeluxe Portal. 

  

  This interface allows to:

  • Add Reports.
  • Sync all Projects.
  • Modify Portal Access Report IDs.
  • Validate Report IDs.
  • Sync Project Access Lists.
  • Activate Schedule Job.
  • Inactivate Schedule Job.
  • Delete added Reports.

• Auto Add User: This interface allows adding users from the Filevine Portal Access Report to the Neodeluxe Portal under the following criteria: 

  • If a user does not exist in Neodeluxe Portal but exists in the Report, an invitation email will be sent.
  • If a user exists in Neodeluxe Portal, but currently is not linked to a Filevine project, that user will be set as Inactive.

• Hydration: This interface allows syncing data from various sections in a Filevine project to the Vineportal (Neodeluxe Portal) section.

  • Hydrate Synced Projects: The system will build a list of projects that have been synced to Neodeluxe Portal that have not yet been Hydrated, and will start a process to Hydrate the projects in Filevine.
  • Hydrate Synced Projects Manually: Forces the starting of the Hydration process manually.
