Neodeluxe Portal Forms: Calculation Field Settings & Field Management

NeThis article covers the configuration of Calculation Field Settings and other field management options. Calculation fields perform mathematical operations based on numeric inputs in the form.

Calculation Fields: General Settings

  • Calculation Fields - Field Layout

1. Select your preferred layout: 1, 2, 3, or 4 Column.
2. Click Apply to save changes.
The field layout will be automatically reflected in the form. 

  • Calculation Fields - Advanced Layout: Field Position
    Adjust the field’s position manually within the section. This helps reorder fields without affecting the rest of the form. 

1. Delete the current field position.
2. Enter the new desired position number.
3. Click Apply to save changes.
4. The field will change position and subsequent fields will adjust accordingly.



  • Calculation Fields - Advanced Layout: Add Field Button
    Quickly add a new field directly after an existing one without reordering the entire form: 

1. Click Add Field.
2. Follow the prompts to add a new field.

Calculation Fields: Calculation

To configure a calculation field:

1. Add numeric fields to your section first. Calculation fields will only work if at least two numeric fields are present.
2. Enter the field name in the Calculation Field box.
3. (Optional) Toggle on Display Calculation to User to show the final result to the user.
4. Add the field you want to calculate.
5. Choose whether to add or subtract values.
6. Select the field to add or subtract.
7. (Optional) Add additional operations if needed.
8. Click Apply to save the changes.

Drag-and-Drop Fields

Fields can be easily rearranged using drag-and-drop. Here’s how:

1. Locate the drag-and-drop button on the left side of a field.
2. Click and drag the section to its new position.
3. Release the mouse to drop a section.
4. Click Save to apply changes.

Delete a Field

To remove a field from the form:
1. Click on the trash icon next to the field.
2. The field will be permanently deleted.

There is no way to undo a deleted field.
