Why Can't a User Log In?

Guide for admins.

If a user is unable to log in to Neodeluxe, it's likely due to one of the following reasons:

  • Incorrect information entered.
  • Expired password.
  • Inactive account.

Set a Temporary Password

To help the user, an admin can set a temporary password that allows the user to log in to the portal. Follow these steps:

1. Log in to Neodeluxe and go to the Admin menu.
2. Click on General and then click User.
3. Search for the user by entering the email, using the toolbar, or the search bar.
4. Click on the user's Full Name.
5. Check that the Active toggle is on.
6. Click Force Change Password.
7. Set a Temporary Password. Click Update.

Remember to share the new password with the user. Once the administrator updates it, the user can immediately access Neodeluxe with the new credentials.

Reset Your Password

Having the user reset their password is always an option too. Here's the steps they can follow to do so:

1. Go to Neodeluxe.
2. Enter your email in the Email or Phone Number (+ Country Code) field and click Continue.
3. Click Forgot Your Password?.
4. Enter your email address to log in to the portal. Click Continue.
An automatic email message with a reset password link and a verification code is sent to your email.
5. Copy the verification code and paste it into the Verification code field.
6. Set a new password and repeat it. Click Continue.

 

A success message will appear, indicating that your password has been changed.

Please allow the email a few minutes to reach your inbox, and remember to check the spam folder if you don’t see it after a few minutes.

The password must meet the following requirements:

  • At least eight characters long.
  • At least one special character (! ? $ #).
  • At least one number.
  • At least one capital letter.
