How to Insert a Node
To insert a node in your Workflow, follow these steps:
- In the Workflows editor, find the box on the left side of the canvas.
- Locate your cursor over any of the icons corresponding to the available type of Nodes.
Node types are: Task,
Rule,
Delay,
Automation (Coming Soon),
Workflow (Coming Soon).
- Drag and drop the node onto the canvas.
A Draft card appears, displaying the Node type, Name* field, CANCEL and CREATE buttons.
- Enter the node Name* and click CREATE or press Enter.

How to Manage a Node
Once a node is added to the workflow editor, in general users can perform the following actions:
Rename, or
Delete.
To manage a node, in the Workflows Editor, locate the node you want to manage and click the ellipsis icon.
Rename a Node
- Select
Rename.
- Change the node Name* and click RENAME.
Renaming a node affects only new records. Running records remain unchanged.

Delete a Node
- Select
Delete.
- Click YES, DELETE NODE to confirm the action. The Node was deleted successfully message appears.
- Deleting a node in a published Workflow updates the Workflow status to Draft.
- Workflow records that are already running under the published version will continue to run.

Autolayout Nodes
The autolayout feature allows users to automatically organize the added Nodes in the Workflows Editor instead of arranging them manually.
To organize your Nodes using the autolayout feature, follow these steps:
- In the Workflows Editor click the Autolayout icon
located in the upper-right corner of the grid.
All nodes on the grid will be automatically organized.
