Process Studio - Workflows - Navigation

To navigate to the Workflows page, follow these steps:

  1. After accessing Neostella, click the grid icon and select the Control Center workspace.
  2. Navigate to Process Studio > Workflows menu. The Workflows Management  dashboard is displayed.

1. After accessing Neostella, click the grid icon.

2. An then select the Control Center workspace.

3. Navigate to Process Studio.

4. And select the Workflows menu.

5. The Workflows Management dashboard is displayed.

6. That's it. You're done.

Workflows Management Interface

The Workflows Management page has three different tabs: TEMPLATES LIST, RUNNING, and RESOLUTION CODES.

Templates List Tab 

The TEMPLATES LIST tab serves as the central dashboard for Workflows Templates management within your Neostella tenant. Users can easily create, manage, export, and visualize their Workflows Templates in a seamless way.

The following elements are displayed in the TEMPLATES LIST tab:

Element Description
1. +NEW WORKFLOW Click this button to create a new Workflow Template.

In the Workflows table, the existing Workflow Templates are listed. The table’s elements are described below:

2. Search This field allows users to enter text to filter workflows in the table based on the entered data.
3. Workflow Name Name of the Workflow Template.
4. Target Object Specific system Object configured in the Workflow Template. Define for which Objects the workflow can be used.
5. Created Date Date when the Workflow Template was created. Date format is displayed according to ISO 8601.
6. Created records Workflow records generated from the Workflow Template
7. Status Workflow Template status. 

Running Tab

The RUNNING tab serves as the page for Workflow records that are currently running within your Neostella tenant. Users can easily visualize and manage their Workflows records statuses in real time, and its steps are stated in a detailed seamless way.

The following elements are displayed in the RUNNING tab:

In the Running table, the existing Workflow records are listed. The table’s elements are described below: 

Element Description
1. Search This field allows users to enter names to filter record workflows in the table.
2. Template Name Name of the Workflow Template, that is running for a specific Object record.
3. Object Type A specific system Object Type configured in the Workflow Template. It defines which type of Object the workflow can be used.
4. Object Name Name of a specific Object record that was used by the Workflow record.
5. Started At Date when the Workflow record started to run. Date format is displayed according to ISO 8601.
6. Actions Allowed actions that can be applied to the Workflow record.

Resolution Code Tab

The Resolution Code tab is used to create and manage resolution codes, which help final task resolvers to categorize their tasks based on the specific management. Resolution codes not only classify the type of resolution applied by the responsible user for managing the task, but can also define, depending on the selected resolution option, the path that will be followed within the workflow. 

The following elements are displayed in the RESOLUTION CODE tab:


 

Element Description
1. +RESOLUTION CODE Click this button to create a new Resolution Code.
2. Search This field allows users to enter text to filter resolution codes in the table based on the entered data.
3. Code Displays the unique resolution code, which is automatically sequentially assigned following the RC-NNN format, where NNN indicates the sequence number. It cannot be edited.
3. Resolution Code Name Name of the resolution code.
4. Description Description of the resolution code.
5. Tags Tags assigned to the resolution code.
6. Resolution Comment

Defines whether users are required to provide a comment when assigning the resolution code to a task they are managing.

Required: The user must enter a comment before completing the task.

Optional: The user may provide a comment, but it is not mandatory.
