How to Create a New Workflow
To create a new Workflow, follow these steps:
- After accessing Neostella, click the grid icon
, then select the Control Center workspace and navigate to Process Studio > Workflows.
- In the Workflows Management dashboard, click +NEW WORKFLOW.
- Enter the workflow Name*.
- (Optional) Add the Description.
- Select the Target Object* that will be used to build the Workflow.
Target Objects* are defined by default in the system.
- Click CREATE. The Workflows Editor is displayed and the Set a starting rule to initiate the flow node is displayed by default.
- The user can configure the Starting Rule node and add, configure and connect all the Workflow elements.

How to Save a Workflow
Save as Checkpoint: Select this option to capture a complete current workflow state with the current configurations. A checkpoint is not a published workflow.

Publish Template: Select this option to publish the current workflow version. Only workflows with a valid structure (all nodes correctly configured and connected) Published workflows are correctly configured and ready to run, allowing new workflow records to be created.

See Version History: Select this option to see the version history timeline. It provides a visual representation of all checkpoints and published versions.

How to Create Resolution Codes
To create a new Resolution Code, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the RESOLUTION CODE tab.
- Click + RESOLUTION CODE.
- Enter the resolution code Name.
- Enter a Description.
- In Assign Tags click the icon
and select the tags you want to add to the Resolution Code.
- In the Resolution Comment section select if the task will be Required or Optional.
- Next, click CREATE. The Resolution Code is saved and available to be assigned to Task Nodes when users create or modify Workflows.
