A process in Advanced Task Management is a structured grouping of task queues designed to streamline workflows for specific scenarios. This enables admins to group related queues. By categorizing queues under processes, teams can quickly identify and manage tasks within a cohesive workflow. For example, a law firm might create a process called "New Client Intake" to manage tasks like document collection, conflict checks, and initial consultation scheduling tasks.
Create Process
- Go to the Admin page, select Advanced Task Management Setup, then select Processes.
- Click + Add Process.
- Complete the following details:
- Name: Enter the process name.
- Description: Provide additional details about the process for internal reference.
- Linked Queues: Choose the queues to group together in the process.
- Is Active: Select Yes to activate or No to deactivate the process.
Deactivated processes will not appear in the Add Queue to Process field when creating or editing queues. However, queues already linked to the process will retain the assignment.
- Click the Save
icon.
A confirmation message Process Created Successfully appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen, and the new process is added to the list, and available for selection when creating or editing a queue.
Queues in processes may or may not be connected in the flow; this is not a conditional.
Edit /Activate /Deactivate Process
- In the Processes option, locate the process to modify, click the Edit
icon.
- Update any of the following editable fields: Name, Description, Linked Queues, Is Active.
- Click the Save
icon. A confirmation message Process Updated Successfully appears in the bottom-right corner.
