Creating a Process for Queues

  • Updated

A process in Advanced Task Management is a structured grouping of task queues designed to streamline workflows for specific scenarios. For example, a law firm might create a process called "New Client Intake" to manage tasks like document collection, conflict checks, and initial consultation scheduling tasks. Here's how to create and manage a process:

To create a new process, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Admin page and select Advanced Task Management Setup.

2. Select Processes.

3. Click +Add Process.

4. Fill in the following details:

  • Name: Enter the process name.
  • Description: Provide additional details about the process for internal reference.
  • Linked Queues: Select the queues to include in this process.
  • Is Active: Select Yes to activate or No to deactivate.

NOTE: Deactivated processes will not appear in the Add Queue to Process field when creating or editing queues. However, queues already linked to the process will retain the assignment.

5. Click the Save icon.

A confirmation message, Process Created Successfully, will appear at the bottom-right corner of the screen, and the new process will be added to the list.

NOTE: Queues within a process may or may not be connected in a flow; processes are not conditional.
