Overview

Neostella relies on a flexible data model that allows legal teams to configure Objects, Fields, and deep Relationships to reflect real-world legal complexity.

When a new workspace is provisioned, Neostella automatically generates a core set of default Objects and Fields that provide immediate structure for legal workflows, ensuring users can begin managing records and tracking progress immediately.

Use this guide to review the standard system Objects and the corresponding Fields generated by default.

Notes

  • Every system Object includes default audit and identity Fields: Created By, Created At, Updated By, Updated At, Key (record ID), and Object (object name).
  • Since the Name Field is mandatory across Objects, both the Key (record ID) and Object (object name) Fields serve as merge tools to generate consistent record titles automatically.
  • Review the Fields assigned to the default Objects before configuring custom Fields to prevent data duplication.
