legacy system backup upload

  • Updated

overview

This article explains how authorized firm representatives can upload their legacy system data and document backup files to the AWS S3 bucket required for the migration and implementation process.

These backups allow Neostella Team to securely transfer data and documents into Neostella platform.

The backup files must be generated by the authorized firm representative and uploaded to the AWS S3 bucket provided by Neostella Team.

Two types of backup processes may be required for the migration: the Data Backup Upload and the Document Backup Upload.

Both processes are similar, but the upload method may vary depending on the type and volume of files. Data backup files are typically uploaded through the AWS S3 interface, while document backups may require a different method when transferring a large number of files.

this article is intended for

  • Authorized firm representative who is responsible for obtaining and providing the data and documents backup files from their legacy system.
  • Neostella Team responsible for managing the migration process.

prerequisites

Before starting the upload process, ensure the following requirements are met.

    • .csv (Comma-separated values).
  • Document backups upload support all file formats and may contain a large volume of files.
  • Do NOT compress the data backup files.
  • Once your backup files are ready, proceed with the upload described below.
