How to Filter Activity Feed Items
To filter the Activity Feed items, follow these steps:
- Select the Project or Lead to filter activity feeds that match the selected projects.
This dropdown is not displayed in the Activity Feed page within a Project or Lead management view, because only Feed Items related with that specific Project or Lead are shown.
- Select the Objects to filter activity feeds that match the selected criteria.
- Click the User field and enter text to search users, then select the usernames. Matching results will be updated in real time as you enter text.
- Select the Date Range to search and filter by starting date and final date.
Results are displayed according to the applied filters.

FAQs & Troubleshooting
What is the Activity Feed?
The Activity Feed displays a chronological list of generated events related to the projects or leads you are involved with, such as updates to tasks, documents, communications, comments, and workflow actions; depending on where you access it:
Cases Workspace
- From Cases > Activity: You see activity across all projects where you are involved.
- From within a Project (Cases>Projects > Activity): You see only the activity related to that specific project.
Intake Workspace:
- From Intake > Activity: You see activity across all leads where you are involved.
- From within a Lead (Intake >Leads > Activity): You see only the activity related to that specific lead.
The feed provides operational visibility into updates such as task changes, document updates, communications, comments, workflow actions, and other configured platform events.
What type of activities appear in the Activity Feed?
Only Events from Objects that were configured by your organization’s Admin in a Project Type/Lead Type appear in the Activity Feed of your related projects/leads. These may include document updates, task changes, comments, workflow actions, and other project/lead-related platform activities.
Both the global Activity Feed (Cases > Activity) and the Activity section within a specific Project or Lead work under the same configuration logic. The difference is the level of visibility:
- In the global Activity Feed, you see events from all projects/leads where you have access.
- In the Project/Lead Activity Feed section, you see only the events related to that specific project/lead.
Can I filter the Activity Feed to find specific events?
Yes. You can filter Activity Feed items using the available filter options:
- Project/Lead (Available only in the main Activity Feed view)
- Event
- Type
- User
- Date Range
Are Activity Feed items shown in real time?
Yes. Feed items are generated automatically when a configured event occurs and are displayed in chronological order.
Why don’t I see any activity in the Activity Feed?
The Activity Feed shows events from the projects/ leads where you are involved.
Each project/Lead belongs to a Project/Lead Type (a structured template such as Mass Tort or Personal Injury).
Each Project/Lead Type must have a Project/Lead Feed configuration defined by your organization’s administrator. This configuration determines which events generate feed items.
If no activity appears, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Your selected filters do not match any feed items.
- No configured event has occurred yet.
- The Project/Lead Type does not have a Project/Lead Feed configuration.
- The relevant Object Event is not enabled for that Project/Lead Type.
- You are not involved in any projects/leads with configured feed events.
If you are viewing the Activity Feed inside a specific Project/Lead, it may also mean that no configured activity has occurred for that Project or you are viewing the wrong Project/Lead.
Why am I not seeing certain events in the Activity Feed?
The Activity Feed only displays events that are enabled in the Project Feed configuration for the Project Type of your projects or the Lead Type of your leads.
If an Object Event (for example, Document Update or Task Creation) is not configured for that Project Type or Lead Type no feed item will be generated, even if the action occurs.
If you need additional visibility, contact your organization’s administrator to review the Activity Feed configuration.
Need to See Specific Events? If you need to visualize certain events that are not appearing in your Activity Feed, please notify your organization's admin. They may need to adjust the Activity Feed configuration for the specific Project/Lead Type you're working with to ensure those events are included in the feed.
