Explore Interface

The Explore page has two distinct tabs: FILTER BUILDER  and AI EXPLORE.

FILTER BUILDER

The FILTER BUILDER panel is where you manually structure your Report with full control over the data or where you can structure an advanced search. It gives you structured control over how your Report is built and how data is retrieved.

It allows you to define exactly what you want to analyze by selecting the main Object, narrowing records through filters, and choosing which fields will appear as columns in the results.

Filters apply logical conditions that determine which records are included, ensuring that only data meeting all defined criteria appears in the Report

By structuring your dataset before running or saving a Report, The FILTER BUILDER helps reduce errors, improve accuracy, and ensure that every Report starts with clearly defined logic. It is designed to support controlled, reliable, and repeatable data analysis.

The following elements are displayed in the FILTER BUILDER tab:

Element Description
  1. What are you looking for?

Click the dropdown to display the main Objects available to build the Report. You can also search for an Object by entering text in the Search Data Sources field.

Once an Object is selected, additional options appear to configure the filter. The user can:

  • Select a Field that belongs to the main Object, choose an Operator, and enter a Value, or
  • Add a Relationship* for searching for an inbound-related object. The filter is configured by selecting a related Object with the main Object, then selecting a Field, Operator, and entering a Value.

To add additional conditions, click +FILTERS.

  1. SELECT FIELDS

Click this button to open the panel where you can select the Fields that will appear as Columns in the Report.

To display the preview, click +PREVIEW RESULTS.

AI EXPLORE Tab

The AI EXPLORE  is designed to make searching faster and easier. Instead of manually selecting filters and relationships, Neostella builds the logic for you while still showing exactly how the results were generated.

It lets you search using plain language instead of building filters manually.

You simply type what you are looking for in the search box. Neostella reads your request, figures out which Object to search, applies the right conditions, and shows the results automatically.

At the top of the Results section, you will see filter chips that display the conditions applied. This helps you clearly understand how it was interpreted your request and what logic was used to find matching records.

Once the search is complete, the matching data is displayed so you can quickly review the information tailored to your needs.

The following elements are displayed in the AI EXPLORE tab:

Element Description
  1. Enter what you are searching for…
Enter the search request in natural language.
  1. SEARCH

Click this button to submit the entered query. Neostella analyzes the request and generates structured results automatically.
  1. Example Queries

Displays predefined search examples to guide users.

Click any example query to automatically insert it into the Enter what you are searching for field.

  1. Results
Displays the matching records based on the interpreted query. At the top of the results, filter chips show the conditions applied by the system, allowing users to understand the logic used to retrieve the data.
