Schema - Data: FIELD GROUP Tab Overview

  • Updated

The FIELD GROUPS tab allows admins to organize fields into logical groups within an object. This feature is especially useful when working with objects that contain a large number of fields, where locating and managing individual fields would be time-consuming.

By grouping related fields, such as Contact Information, Client Details, Project Data, or Case Information, Admins can improve clarity, scalability, and overall data management efficiency.

The FIELD GROUPS tab directly feeds the FIELD GROUPS selector available in the FIELDS tab. These groups serve as the structural foundation used to categorize and filter fields throughout the Object Editor. The FIELD GROUPS tab itself does not change field behavior; it is used exclusively for organizational purposes.
