Data Warehouse

  • Updated

Neodeluxe Data Warehouse provides firms with secure and real-time access to their data. This ensures a reliable and up-to-date view of data from Filevine and other external systems (such as Lead Docket).

This service acts as a bridge between data sources, enabling fast access to structured data. While Filevine focuses on case management, the platform does not currently offer a built-in way to extract data. Data Warehouse complements Filevine’s capabilities by organizing and extracting data into ready-to-use formats.

Data Warehouse is ideal for firms aiming to optimize reporting, audit readiness, and business intelligence, effectively granting full access to their data.

Data Warehouse also functions as a secure and reliable backup system. By continuously mirroring projects, contacts, and other Filevine data into a dedicated database, Data Warehouse provides a critical secondary access point for important information.

Data Schemas

The Data Warehouse separates data into two distinct schemas to provide both real-time and historical records.

  • Current
Displays only the latest version of each record, reflecting the most recent updates.
  • Historic
Captures every change made to a record over time, preserving a detailed audit trail.

With access to both schemas, firms can confidently track ongoing activity while also reviewing or restoring past data as needed—supporting audits, compliance efforts, internal reviews, and informed decision-making.

Dynamic Schema Manager

The Dynamic Schema Manager offers advanced tools to keep the database aligned with changes in Filevine. It automatically detects updates—such as new fields or data structures—and can add new tables or adjust existing ones accordingly. This provides firms with granular control over the Data Warehouse schema.

Tables

Data Warehouse schemas are structured through tables, with each Filevine object mapped to a corresponding table in the Data Warehouse, such as projects, documents, notes, contacts, collection sections, or forms.

These tables store both the current data available in Filevine and a complete record of historical changes, ensuring traceability and data quality control.
