Manage Existing Queues

 Users with the Admin role in Advanced Task Management, have the ability to manage, modify, and monitor queues efficiently, ensuring streamlined task flows for case management work. The sections below walk through how to edit, deactivate, and activate existing queues.

Edit Existing Queue

  1. Go to the Queues List tab, locate the queue to modify, and click on its name.
  2. In the Queue Editor tab, modify the queue, and then click the Save button.

A notification displaying Queue Updated Successfully appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen. 

  • Queues with Draft status can be fully edited.
  • Queues with Live status AND NO Tasks Created, are fully editable.
  • Queues with Live status AND Tasks Created (one or more projects has entered into the Queue), can be partially edited EXCEPT the Queue Trigger Section.
  • The Queue Trigger Section CANNOT be edited after a project has entered into a Queue.

Deactivate Queues

  1. In the Queues List tab, locate the queue you want to modify and click on its name.
  2. In the Queue Editor tab, go to the Queue Details section. Find the Is Active toggle, switch it OFF, and then click the Save button.

Activate Queues

  1. In the Queues List tab, select the Show inactive queues checkbox, to see the list of inactive queues, and click the name of the queue you want to activate.
  2. In the Queue Editor tab, go to the Queue Details section. Find the Is Active toggle, switch it ON, and then click the Save button.

Go Live

When a queue was saved but not published, and remains in Draft status, users can set the queue to Live. To set a queues to Live follow the steps:

  1.  In the Queues List tab, locate the queue you want to start and click the Go Live button
  2. Click Go Live to confirm the action.

Queue Flows in the Visual Flow Editor

Users can view and modify the task flow of the queues they created using the Flow Editor. Follow the steps:

  1. In the Queues List tab, locate the queue you want to visualize or modify in the list and click on its name.
  2. Navigate to the Flow Editor tab, where users will see the complete configured flow for the selected queue, including all the Queues Names involved and their Execution Time.

Link Queues in the Flow Editor

  1. Click the + icon to the right of the queue block.
  2. Enter the following details:
  • Added Queue*: Select an existing queue from the dropdown. If the selected queue is linked to multiple other queues, all appear in the diagram.
  • Triggering Queue - Not Editable: Pre-filled with the previous queue's name.
  • Next Queue: Shows the connected queue(s).
    • When no queue is connected to the block, this field will be empty.
    • By clicking the X at the right of each queues name, you can delete the queue from the flow diagram.
  • Execute after (Days): Enter the number of days the task will be created after completion of the previous queue's task.
  1. Click Link. The new queue and its linked queues appear in the Flow Editor.

Unlink Queues in the Flow Editor

  1. Click the trash icon in the top-right corner of the queue block you want to unlink.

The queue block is unlinked from the other queues in the Flow Editor, along its linked queues.
