The Live Chat Set up menu allows administrators to manage access, roles, and labels for support agents in Neodeluxe. Here, you can assign permission roles, create and manage labels, and control which users have access to the Live Chat feature.
You can find it in the Live Chat Setup, which includes two main tabs:
- Team Assignment tab: Manage user access, permission roles, and labels.
- Labels tab: Create, edit, and delete labels used for categorizing support agents.
How to Access the Live Chat Setup - Support Team
Follow these steps to access the Live Chat Setup - Support Team
1. Log in to Neodeluxe.
2. Click on the Admin menu.
3. Click on Live Chat Setup.
4. Click Set up to open the configuration dashboard.
You will see the set up section.
Team Assignment Tab
The Team Assignment tab is where administrators assign users as support agents, permission roles, and labels. It also allows editing or removing users' permissions.
How to Access to Team Assignment Tab
1. Log in to Neodeluxe.
2. Click on the Admin menu.
3. Select Live Chat Setup.
4. Click Set up.
5. Click the Team Assignment tab.
A dashboard will display all allowed users and available actions.
Team Assignment Tab Dashboard
The Team Assignment tab dashboard allows you to view, edit, and manage user access and roles, and assign and edit labels too. Here are some elements:

Manage User labels and Permission Roles
You can edit labels, assignation and permission roles directly from the Team Assignment tab:
1. Click on the Team Assignment Tab.
2. Locate the user and click the edit button .
3. Use the dropdown menus to edit Labels or Permission Roles.
4. Click the Save icon to apply changes.
Delete a User
To delete a user, follow the next steps:
1. Open the Team Assignment tab.
2. Click the Delete icon next to the user.
Edit User Editor
The Edit Users editor is the central tool to manage access for support agents, assign permission roles, and edit labels.
How to Access to Edit Users Editor
1. Open Live Chat Setup.
2. Click on the Team Assignment tab.
3. Click the Edit Users button.
Allow Access to Support Agent
1. In the Users Without Access table, check the box next to the user(s).
2. Click the blue right-arrow to move them to the Allowed Users table.
3.Click Save.
The user now has access to Live Chat.
Remove Access
1. In the Allowed Users table, check the box next to the user(s).
2. Click the blue left-arrow to move them back to Users Without Access.
3. Click Save.
Their roles, labels, and permissions will be removed automatically.
Assign Roles to Users
1. In the Edit Users editor, open the Roles to assign to allowed users dropdown.
2. Select the desired role(s).
3. In the Users Without Access table, check the user(s) you want to assign roles to.
4. Click the blue right-arrow to move them to the Allowed Users table with the new roles.
5. Click Save.
You will see the assigned roles in the Permission Role column.
Assign Labels to Users
1. In the Edit Users editor, open the Labels to be Assigned to Selected Users dropdown.
2. Select the labels you want to assign.
3. In the Users Without Access table, select the user(s).
4. Click the blue right-arrow to move them to the Allowed Users table with the new labels.
5. Click Save.
You will see the assigned labels in the Labels column.
Exit the Edit Users Editor
Click the View Users button to return to the Team Assignment dashboard.
Label Tab
The Labels Tab allows administrators to create, edit, and delete custom labels that help categorize support agents. You can edit label names and descriptions easily from this section.
How to Access the Label Tab
1. Log in to Neodeluxe.
2. Click on the Admin menu.
3. Click on Live Chat Set up.
4. Click Set up.
5. Click the Label tab.

Create a New Label
1. Click on the Labels tab.
2. Click + Create New Label.
3. Enter the Label name.
4. Enter the Description.
5. Click Create.
Edit labels
1. Click on the Labels tab.
2. Find the label you want to edit.
3. Click the edit button next to it.
4. Update the Label name or Description.
5. Click Save.
Delete a label
1. Open the Labels tab.
2. Locate the label to delete.
3. Click Delete.
Confirm before deletion — this action cannot be undone.
