Ensure reliable Filevine data with Data Governance AI. This tool allows Neodeluxe admins to create real-time alerts that enforce data entry rules, ensure mandatory fields are completed, and control user access to specific Filevine actions. By improving data consistency and accuracy, Data Governance AI enhances reporting and minimizes errors.
How Alerts Work
Real-time alerts appear via the Neodeluxe Sidebar (Google Chrome Extension) whenever data governance rules are not followed, helping your staff to address input issues before they affect reporting.
Additionally, admins can monitor governance alerts in real-time through Neodeluxe, allowing for proactive visibility of unresolved alerts.

Data Governance Rule Types Overview
Rules Based on Acceptable Values
Rules Based on Acceptable Values ensure data entries meet predefined values or format patterns. Admins can:
- Define specific values or use regular expressions to validate field inputs.
- Set optional criteria to determine when the rule should apply in a project, based on the project’s data.
- Enforce these rules across all projects of a specified Project Type in Filevine.
If a user enters an invalid value, an alert is triggered in the Neodeluxe Sidebar.
Rules Based on Mandatory Fields
Rules Based on Mandatory Fields ensure critical fields are completed when certain conditions are met. Admins can:
- Define project criteria and conditions that trigger mandatory fields.
- Specify which fields must be completed if the criteria apply.
- Apply the rule across all Filevine projects of the configured Project Type.
If a required field is left blank, an alert is triggered to prompt completion.
Rules Based on User Access
Rules Based on User Access control who can perform specific actions within Filevine. Admins can:
- Grant or deny access to selected Neodeluxe Portal users.
- Restrict access based on specific actions rather than entire projects.
- Set optional criteria to determine when the rule should apply in a project, based on the project’s data.
This ensures only authorized users can complete certain tasks, protecting data integrity.
