Why Doesn't the Report Contain Information

Remember the logic between fields in the Conflict Check Advance Pro is "AND," meaning all conditions must be met. For list inputs (fields that accept multiple options), the logic is "OR," meaning any listed value can match, so the search is based on the condition.

For example:

For a search with Last Name "Smith", Possible First Names "John", "Johnathan", "Joe", and Possible Emails "johnsmith@aol.com", "john@gmail.com", or "js@gmail.com", 

The Advanced Conflict Check Pro will include in the report: All Filevine contacts with the last name "Smith" AND any of the first names "John" OR "Johnathan" OR "Joe" AND any of the indicated emails: "johnsmith@aol.com" OR "john@gmail.com" OR "js@gmail.com". If any of the registers in Filevine match this condition, the report will not display the information.

 

Ensure the values entered in the following fields CONTAINS existing data in Filevine, as Conflict Check Automation Pro uses a CONTAINS search:

  • Possible First Names
  • Date of Birth
  • Possible Emails
  • Possible Phone Numbers

For example: If the user searches for Possible Phone Number 555, all records that CONTAIN this value 555 will be reflected in the report. Variations such as 4555232 or 0555456 (that contain the value) will be included.
