Restrictions for Rules Based on Mandatory Fields

• Not Supported Field Types: 

• • Project Link
  • Project Link List
  • URL, URL List
  • Person
  • Person List
  • File Attachment
  • Multiple File Attachment (List)
  • Deadline (With reminders)
  • Text - Single line list
  • Text - Multiple lines (Large)

• Supported Field Types: 

• • Project Phase (Rules with this type of mandatory field are triggered when there are changes in the project phase).
  • Date (Date Absolute/ Date Relative)

When establishing the criteria, in the Variable* field, both types of fields are supported. However, in the Mandatory Fields* field, only the Date option will appear to mark the field as mandatory.
