Who can use this feature? 

Admins (factlink_admin), Package Creators (factlink_creator), and Members/Everyday Users (factlink_user).

Create Facts Based on Selected Text

  1. In a Package, click a document’s name or click the arrow icon to open the document.
  2. Select the text, and click the + button to generate a Fact based on selected text.
  3. Click the Fact Name in the card to add a name for the fact.
  4. Click on a fact's box to expand its card. You can then update the fact details as needed: change the Fact Date, edit the content in the Edited field, add Comments, and select a Fact Type to categorize the fact.

Create Full Page Facts

  1. In a Package, click a document’s name or click the arrow icon to open the document.
  2. Go to the page where you want to add the fact, and click the Full Page Fact button to add the entire page as a fact.
  3. Click the Fact Name in the card to add a name for the fact.
  4. Click on a fact's box to expand its card. You can then update the fact details as needed: change the Fact Date, edit the content in the Edited field, add Comments, and select a Fact Type to categorize the fact.

Edit Facts

Edit Highlighted Fact Content

  1. Locate the Fact, and click to expand the fact details.
  2. Click the three dots in the bottom right corner of the fact card, and select Edit Fact Content.
  3. Select the new text in the document, and click the Save icon to confirm.

Edit Full Page Facts

  1. Locate the Full Page Fact, and click to expand the fact details. 
  2. Click the three dots in the bottom right corner of the fact card, and select   Edit Fact Content.
  3. From the Page dropdown displaying the document’s page numbers, select the new page number, and click the Save icon to confirm.

Edit Fact Text

  1. Locate the Fact, and click to expand the fact details. 
  2. Click on the Edited tab.
  3. Edited the fact’s text as desired. All edits will be saved automatically and stored under the Edited tab. The document’s original text will remain stored under the Original tab.

Users can customize the edited tab text using available tool bar features: 

  • Font sizes: Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, Normal.
  • Font Type: Sans Serif, Serif, Monospace.
  • Font Style: Bold, Italic, Underlined.
  • Lists: Numbered List, Bulleted List.
  • Align and Indent options: Left-Aligned (Default), Center-Aligned, Right-Aligned, Justify.
  • Font Colors.

Download Fact Page

  1. Locate the Fact, and click to expand the fact details. 
  2. Click the three dots in the bottom right corner of the fact card, and select Download Fact Page.
  3. Click the Pages dropdown, and select one of the following options:
  • Fact Page: to download the fact page.
  • Fact page and surrounding pages: downloading the fact page along the previous and next pages.
  1. Click Export Facts , and the PDF page will be downloaded to your device.

Delete Facts

  1. Locate the Fact, and click to expand the fact details. 
  2. Click the three dots in the bottom right corner of the fact card, and select Delete Fact.
  3. Complete the action by clicking the Confirm button in the popup to delete the fact.
