Why Can’t I Add Rules with Duplicate Conditions?

You cannot create a new Data Governance rule if another rule with the same conditions already exists and is currently active. A pop up will appear in the bottom-right corner informing you of this, with a link to view the rule.


However, if the existing rule is deactivated, you can create a new rule using the same conditions. Additionally, existing rules can be modified, activated, or deactivated as needed.
