Troubleshooting Alert Notifications in Neodeluxe Data Governance AI
When using Neodeluxe Data Governance AI in Filevine through the Neodeluxe Sidebar, users may experience a short delay in alert notifications. If an alert is still not displaying after a few minutes, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Check Rule Status
Ensure the rule status is set to Live in Neodeluxe. For more information on publishing a rule, please read Go Live/Publishing a Rule.
2. Verify Rule Activation
Click on the rule name and verify that the Is Active Field is set to Yes. For more information, please read Activating a Rule.
3. Confirm Neodeluxe Sidebar Setup
Ensure the installation and login for the Neodeluxe Sidebar were properly set up. For more information, please read Neodeluxe Sidebar Setup & Login.
4. Ensure Data Governance is Selected
Verify the Data Governance radio button option is selected in the Neodeluxe Sidebar.
5. Check Server Connection
Verify that the cloud icon at the top of the Neodeluxe Sidebar Extension is properly connected to the servers.
Troubleshooting Acceptable Value Alerts
If you've confirmed the Neodeluxe Sidebar is setup correctly, and you still aren't receiving alerts for Acceptable Values, follow these steps to troubleshoot:
1. Select the Correct Project Type
Verify that the Filevine project template you are working in is the same Project Type linked to the rule.
2. Verify the Correct Field
Make sure you are entering information into the correct section and field specified in the rule.
2. Ensure Entered Value Isn't Accepted
Double-check that the value you are entering does not match any of the Acceptable Values defined in the rule. For troubleshooting purposes, you want to enter an invalid value to see the alert. If the value is already accepted, no alert will be shown.
Troubleshooting Mandatory Field Alerts
If you're not receiving alerts for Mandatory Fields from Criteria-Based Rules, follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Select the Correct Project Type
Confirm that the Filevine project template you are working in is the same Project Type linked to the rule.
2. Verify Criteria is Met
Ensure the project meets the criteria defined in the rule. If the criteria are not satisfied in the project, no mandatory field alert will be triggered.
Troubleshooting User Access Alerts
If a user who has been denied access to a certain action is not receiving alerts when performing that action, follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Validate the Project Type
Ensure that the Filevine Project Type configured in the rule matches the Project Type for the project you're working in.
2. Verify Assigned Access Permissions
Confirm whether the rule is set to grant or deny access as intended.
3. Check the User List
Review the list of users included in the rule to ensure accuracy.
4. Validate the Selected Type of Access
Confirm the correct access type is selected: Project Phase Change, Notes, or Project Information.
5. Validate Actions for Project Information
If the rule applies to Project Information, ensure the correct actions (e.g., Edit) are selected.
6. Validate Actions for Notes
If the rule applies to Notes, verify the selected actions such as Add, Edit, Complete, or Mark as Incomplete.
