What Data Governance CANNOT Do At This Time:

Alerts inform users that their input, missing fields, or action are violating a Data Governance rule to guide data integrity in Filevine, but Data Governance cannot completely block or prevent users from the input or actions.

• Prevent users from inputting unacceptable values in Filevine Projects or Contacts
• Block users from changing Filevine Project Phases
• Block users from entering any sort of data in Filevine
• Prevent users from saving a project even though mandatory fields are required
  • The alerts inform users that required information is still pending, but it can't prevent users from saving a project without fields marked as mandatory.
