Data Governance Permissions
Neodeluxe Data Governance AI offers three distinct user permissions for internal staff members, allowing flexibility in how they interact with governance features. Each staff member can be assigned one or multiple permissions, depending on their role. Below is a description of each permission type:
Manager - Admin
Managers have full access to Data Governance. They can configure rules, review alerts, and approve or reject acceptable value requests in Neodeluxe. Additionally, Managers can access Data Governance directly within Filevine through the Neodeluxe Sidebar.
Example: Director of Operations
Alert - Admin
Users with the "Alert" permission can manually review and resolve alerts within Neodeluxe. However, they cannot receive, review, or resolve alerts directly in Filevine through the Neodeluxe Sidebar.
Example: Case Management Team Lead
Default - Everyday Users
The default permission, everyday end users can receive, review, and resolve alerts in Filevine through the Neodeluxe Sidebar. These users do not have access to the Data Governance interface in Neodeluxe.

When admins with the Manager and Alert permissions access Data Governance in Neodeluxe, they will see three distinct tabs: Rules, Alerts, and Acceptable Values Request. Each tab offers specific functionalities to manage Data Governance settings and requests. Here's an overview of each tab:
Rules
In the Rules tab, admins can create and edit Data Governance Rules.
Alerts
The Alerts tab allows admins to review and, when required, manually resolve alerts triggered by Data Governance rules in Filevine, ensuring timely resolutions of data discrepancies or missing information.
Acceptable Values Request
The Acceptable Values Request tab is where admins manage user requests to add new acceptable values to Data Governance rules. Admins can review each request and choose to accept or reject it. If accepted, the new value is automatically added to the list of acceptable values within the relevant rule, and all alerts associated with that value will then be resolved.
